Redux :the Restaurant & the Market at Redux
Executive Chef, Co-Owner
Chef Rob was born and raised in New Jersey and always had a passion for cooking. At the age of 16 he began working under Chef Adolfo d'Martino at the Green Gables on Long Beach Island, NJ. He quickly realized his passion for cooking. After graduating from Lafayette College he attended the International Culinary Institue(formerly FCI) in NYC to obtain a culinary degree. As he says, "at the age of 20 I had the trifecta, I found something I loved to do, was good at and could make a living on."
Chef Rob has worked across the county and abroad. He has worked in France, Italy, California, New York and New Jersey. In 2008, he opened Resto, a contemporary French restaurant and in 2009 he opened Rob's Bistro, a classic French bistro. After selling both restaurants, he took a year off, while still looking for his next venture and then opened Redux, with his wife Danielle in September of 2015.

Danielle was born and raised in New Jersey and always knew she wanted to be in the restaurant industry. She came from a long line of restaurant owners, caterers and chefs. After traveling Europe and graduating from Montclair State University, she began working in the restaurant industry and never looked back. Danielle worked with Rob at both Resto and Rob's Bistro and after he sold both of them, they created their dream restaurant, Redux.

the Market at Redux opened in October of 2015 by
Chef Robert & Danielle Ubhaus in downtown Madison, NJ.
Redux :the Restaurant focuses on using quality ingredients while serving Modern American small plates, ideal for sharing & enjoying your meal with family and friends(dinner only).
The Market at Redux is a Specialty and Prepared Foods retail shop
located right next to :the Restaurant, which also offers lunch Monday - Sunday.
The Market also specialize in off-premise catering and prepared party platters(menu here). If you are having a few friends over for a cocktail party or having a few hundred friends for a formal event, we will be able to help for all your party needs.
